Miramichi Campus

Located along the banks of the beautiful world famous Miramichi River, the ½ûÂþÌìÌà Miramichi Campus is located in one of New Brunswick’s prettiest and most walkable communities. Students attending programs here will find quality academic programs in the areas of Applied and Media Arts, Business Administration, Environment and Marine Systems, Health, Informational Technology, Social Sciences as well as Trades.

With a population of just over 17,000, Miramichi is a friendly and welcoming community. The campus itself, boasts 500+ students, with nearly one fifth arriving from outside of Canada. An increasingly diverse population means students will also find a range of services to meet their needs, including new restaurants, grocery stores and places of worship.

Student life is an active one. Onsite groups and committees give students a chance to become familiar with the campus. Local community events, such as The Pumpkin Festival and Spring Fling, are part of the annual activities students participate in.

Outdoor lovers will thrive in Miramichi. Kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, and paddle boarding are popular warm weather activities, while skiing, skating and snowshoeing keep residents active in the winter.

Two of New Brunswick’s larger communities, Moncton and Fredericton, are each under two hours away. They both have international airports, and at the start of the school year, ½ûÂþÌìÌà provides free airport shuttles for arriving students. Career and wellbeing counsellors are also onsite to help newcomers settle in. They provide information about accommodations, public transit, medical and other services.
